Hi everyone,

I just returned from a quick visit to NEW YORK CITY, so if any of you are looking for personal recommendations of GF-friendly spots, check out my Blog post:

For other gluten free travel options, don't miss my post on how CRUISE SHIPS have generally become a good bet for gluten free travelers. I share many specifics in my post:

For those of you who missed it last month, we added some great new RESOURCE PAGES TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT CELIAC AND GLUTEN SENSITIVITY -- covering the necessary facts and resources that both new and veteran gluten free folks need to know. It's also a great place where you can refer friends and family when they have questions about your gluten free diet. We've tried to make the explanations about Celiac, gluten sensitivity, and a gluten free diet easy to understand, and we aim to clear up some myths and misinformation that get spread by people that are uninformed. Topics include symptoms of Celiac and gluten sensitivity, diagnostic testing, foods that are off-limits, how to cook safely, and challenges that come with dining out and traveling. There's a list of our Top Picks for various categories of gluten free products and a special section devoted to Kids on GF diets (focusing on school parties, camps, colleges, and more).

Here are a couple other noteworthy posts from the past month on our Blog:

P.F. Chang's makes a slight (but unwelcome) change to their Gluten Free Menu:

A new pizza chain offering quick, customized gluten free PIZZA:

Finally, if you haven't picked it up yet, look for the Sept/Oct issue of SIMPLY GLUTEN FREE magazine at your local market or bookstore. It's a great issue packed with many GF recipes -- and a profile I wrote about a dedicated GF bakery in Pennsylvania (and yes, they ship their wonderful GF baked goods to those of you that aren't within driving distance!)

Have a wonderful September!

Warm regards,
