The Las Cruces Gluten-Free/Celiac Disease Support Group will meet on
Saturday, May 15, 1:30 pm, at University United Methodist Church, 2000
S. Locust. In the past few years, many gluten-free products have come on
the market, including some from major food manufacturers like General
Mills; gluten-free recipes can be found all across the internet; and new
gluten-free cookbooks are published almost monthly. The focus of the
group's May meeting will be tasting gluten-free foods and sharing
recipes. Participants are encouraged to bring a dish or product for
sampling, which must be accompanied by either a recipe, the mix
packaging, or a label with the ingredient list. For more information,
contact Susan Pieper ([log in to unmask] or 522-8182).
