According to an article in Nature Medicine, Robert Anderson and
colleagues at the University of Oxford identified a celiac
disease-specific antigen (A-gliadin)and state that the implications of
this research may lead to new opportunities such as the development of
non-toxic wheat, the development of antigen-specific immunotherapy to
"switch off" immune responses to CD, the devepment of a diagnostic blood
test, and the development of a means to test food more specifically for
toxicity.

It would be helpful if one of the Cel-Pro's commented on the Nature
Medicine article. What can we expect to learn from this research? What
are the practical implications for patients?
