I quote from the Fall 1995 newsletter (p. 5) from the NOMSG group
(discussing the recently released FASEB report on MSG):

It is undisputed that hydrolyzed proteins contain MSG. There is data
in the literature that MSG reactions can occur from hydrolyzed protein.
Yet, FASEB stated that there are "...no scientific reports of glutamic
acid-related adverse effects of ingesting...protein hydrolysates...;"
and the FDA falsely concluded that there are no reactions to hydrolyzed
  protein.

The National Organization Mobilized to Stop Glutamate may be reached at:
P.O. Box 367, Santa Fe, NM 87504 or 800-BEATMSG (800-232-8674). Membership
is $25 per year.
