Summary regarding my questions:

Sour Cream almost always ok when regular.........gets tricky with the
low-fat, etc.  Brand used by most were Land-o-Lakes and Daisy

Jello pudding mix.........most said it was OK, however one person said
no.  Another said Royal instant is OK.

Protein powder..........lots of people use it, and the brand most
recommended was Genisoy, although there are quite a few others

My fruit dip...............a few asked for the recipe, that certainly
appears to be gluten free.  It's the easiest thing to make and
sooooooooo delicious.

1 - 8oz Cool Whip
1 - 8oz Sour Cream
1 sm. box vanilla instant pudding

THAT'S IT!!!!!!!   Trust me, it's yummy!!!!!
