Hi all!

Two things I'd like to know more on, both relating to the man in my life...

ad much faith in the GP all along, especially now that he refused even to take blood for the test!!! He said he
wouldn't because celiac is mainly a disease in children....

So: does anybody have a particularly good article on celiac which can shed a little light on the subject for his GP?

Also, the test I asked for was the blood test for antiendomysial antibodies - as an initial screening tool, this is the
most sensitive and specific, right?

If he has gluten for lunch and then picks me up after work, is he still contaminated? We are pretty careful I guess,
but I don't get obvious symptoms so I can't judge for myself.

Any help on either of these would be accepted with thanks,

Ingrid in Winnipeg.
