Just a quick email to see if anyone has successfully worked with a college or university to guarantee housing in an apartment with a kitchen due to Celiac. I have a 504 plan and I'm going into my senior year at Holy Cross in Massachusetts. I have been trying to get an apartment since sophomore year. I am currently in DC for the semester and I am living in an apartment and this is the best I have felt in three years being away. We have senior apartments, but the powers that be at my school are not very helpful when it comes to accomodating disabilites and refuse to work with me and my parents so that I finally have an apartment. I would like to provide them with concrete examples of other colleges who have been accomodating with housing. I'm only interested in housing accomodations-please don't reply about dining services, etc. I know of at least one other school (Georgetown) that allowed a sophomore to have an apartment due to Celiac. I appreciate your responses as soon as possible.

Thanks so much & Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
