Hi, all!

Well, I am practically ready to throw out my Bette Hagman books. My mom
sent me a new book -- "Wheat-Free Recipes & Menus" by Carol Fenster, Ph.D.,
published by Morris Publishing. Carol Fenster has her Ph.D. in home
economics, and this book is FULL of wonderful, =easy= recipes. In my
opinion, the recipes (including both the white and French bread) are
superior to Bette Hagman's in every way, including flavor and ease of
preparation.

There are a number of excellent recipes for things like pretzels, bagels,
focaccia, hamburger buns, pumpernickel bread, Boston brown bread, flour
tortillas, vanilla wafers, dumplings, etc. I have been trying the recipes
over the past three weeks -- this piece of fresh pumpernickel bread is
probably the best treat I have had since going GF! She also lists
information regarding calories, fat, protien, carbohydrates, etc. for each
recipe.

This book is available from:

Better days ahead!
