We meet regularly with a group for lunch.  The lunch is prepared by others in the group.  I have noticed as soon as I pass the main entre' those around me ask questions or make comments being concerned about my eating.  Of course, I eat before I go and can usually do the salad.  

I would welcome any tips for graciously staying on my diet without calling attention to myself.
