Hi Everyone,

 I just heard from my friend and she ended up getting health insurance through the State of Illinois' ICHIP program.  It is for people who cannot qualify for health insurance thru normal channels.  She said it is more expensive, but at least she has coverage.

Thank you for all of your suggestions and comments.  She was very grateful.
