Fellow Listmates -

I am a 37 year old female and approx. 4 years ago I was diagnosed with
Celiac and Severe Liver disease. While waiting for the proper organ
donation of a liver, I had been getting stronger, and doing much
better. I did have to have a Shunt inserted into my liver. Now I have
been told that I have osteoporosis. They think because the Celiac
wasn't discovered until I was 34, contributed to the seriousness to my
different problems. Seeveral nights ago I woke up about 2:00am on my
sofa. I started to the bedroom and tripped on a cord and fell very hard
on some chairs. I was certain that I broke 3 ribs and done damage to my
sturnam. I went to the Clinic the next day and they did X-rays. I have
3 cracked ribs and heavy bruising on my sternam. It is VERY painful.
Has anyone had this problem before? Is it Celiac Related? What can I
do for the agony? I also get severe cramping in my legs and feet. What
is happening to me? Any suggestions from any that know, will be
appreciated. I am doing my best to keep a good attitude, but that is
getting very difficult.

Thanks to any or all that reply. Happy Holidays!
