While I agree with Mr. Kasarda's statement below, this post is very
disturbing.

Mr. Kasarda is, in his own words, a wheat protein scientist with the USDA.
His years of knowledge in his area of expertise have been of great
usefulness to celiacs.

He is *not* the world's leading grain expert nor does he claim to be. He is
not a medical doctor, he is not a medical researcher, nor does he suffer
from celiac disease. His words are *not* gospel, and it's scary to see that
there are persons who would deify him and regard his words as anything other
than what they are: an educated opinion. And other educated persons may or
may not agree with that opinion.

Please, let's keep things in perspective.
