I recently posted an inquiry asking if any of you out there with DH or
Celiac Disease ever had or have ITP - Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Pupura
(low platelet counts). I received some response but I don't believe it
validated a summary post. I believe that was my fault for not explaining
what ITP is very well. Anyway, what I'd like to know from all of you is
this; Do you currently have or did you once have ANY other auto-immune
diseases besides Celiac Disease? I understand that auto-immune disorders
are more frequent in people who already have one auto-immune disease.

If you would like to check a list of auto-immune diseases please see
this web site: http://www.aarda.org/indexf.html
This list includes information on 56 auto-immune diseases with
explanations. They range from Insulin Dependent Diabetes to Lupus to
Fibromyalgia and many, many others I have never heard of. Of course, I
had never heard of Celiac Disease or ITP either :-)

Anyway, if you all can let me know, that would be great. Even if you
have answered me before on my ITP question, please do so again. I would
like to put together the best summary as I can to keep us all informed.
I think this will be interesting so please participate if you know you
have another auto-immune disease!!

Thanks,
Janelle
