What a wonderful group!

Out of 30 responses about
10% said that they could not tolerate oats and about two of those said that they hear
experts who said that they should not eat them

The other 90% said that certified gluten free oats are very well tolerated. However, they
cautioned "that oats can be difficult to digest for the newly diagnosed, and it is
recommended that newly diagnosed folks wait a year -- for optimum healing -- before
trying to eat GF oats, and then they should be introduced very slowly. You should be tested
to make sure that there is no damage after adding the oats"

Thank you for your caring replies!
Cathy

PS. Sources for GF Oats Bob's Red Mill very popular
Cream Hill Estates - The Pure Oats Company in Montreal, Quebec
Gifts of Nature, Gluten Free Oats,
third party inspection of manufacturing facility at GFCO.org
