Dear List -

I have never checked with Cumberland Farms to see who makes their chips or if they're on dedicated lines, etc.  Just read the ingredients and they looked OK, so I ate them  (and ate them, and ate them, and still eat them....).  I prefer ripple chips, which are are lower-salt than the national brands  (as are Utz chips), so can't vouch for the salt content of the flat chips, but I've never had a contamination problems with "Cumby's" plain chips, and I'm really sensitive.   Certainly something to keep in mind when you're traveling.
