Does anyone have any knowledge about the effect of having celiac on surgery
involving a bone graft?
Gail is now scheduled for spinal fusion on Friday
They "harvest"a bone graft from her pelvis to fuse between the disc
Does the fact Celiacs often have problems with bone density effect the ability
of the bone graft to "take" ie. grow into the vertebrae and does it effect the
stregnth or long term viability of the graft?
