Has anyone had Pamidronate infusions for osteoporosis?
My Dexa went from -1.50 to -3.48 in one year. Was unable to tolerate Actonel and Forteo.My endocrinologist highly suggests Pamidronate. I am 74.
I am not keen on having poisons in my system, also get severely nauseated even with IV medication. Very nauseated with Methotrexate which was discontinued a few years ago.
Have adrenal insufficiency caused by prolonged steroid use. Would appreciate any help from the wonderful people on this list.
