Hi List,

Now I've tried Bette's popovers with rice flours and cornstarch. 1/3 cup
each, brown & white rice, and 1/3 cup cornstarch. It worked as well as the
garfava mix I listed on Saturday, 1/5/2002.

The only difference was the cornstarch variety was considerably lighter in
texture, but still quite tasty, especially fresh from the oven with some
butter on them. I'll have to be carefull here or I'll gain 5 pounds just
taste testing.

Again, the recipe is on page 44 of Bette Hagman's book "Living Well Without
Wheat". It is a quick, simple recipe that requires no special equipment,
just a pan, and a muffin tin for baking. I hope those of you that try this
recipe enjoy it as much as I do.

Take care. Dave Taylor, Mentor, OH.
