Chris,

As far as increasing Peter's protein intake..............

I would avoid giving your baby raw eggs. Instead, I would add some protein
powder such as Fred Meyer's Protein 95 to his food. I have checked with the
company and the product is gf (503-538-0221) and is sold in the Nutrition
Center at Fred Meyer stores. I get the kind with papain and lethicin since
I was told this formulation is easier to digest. Protein 95 is made from
soybeans - if you are certain it is soy he is reacting to you might not want
to use this product.

If you are certain he does not have an allergy to eggs, I would use
EggBeater brand (be careful - I have found other brands, such as Scramblers,
that are NOT gf) instead. Eggbeaters are ~99% egg whites - the yolk has
been left out. The whites are high in protein without all of the bad actors
that are present in the yolks.

Good luck.
