On the advice of my doctor, I tried taking DHEA and after 3 or 4 days I
started having internal bleeding, very similar to what happens to me with
aspirins. Has anyone else experienced this kind of thing in relation to
celiac, or maybe it is unrelated ? (DHEA are adrenal precursor steroids which
the body turns into androgens and/or estrogens. This natural substance
declines with age. The theory being if you replace it, the person feels
better. )

I doubt that the DHEA is the culprit, but maybe the binders for the pills ?
It is the 25mg Schiff brand that says no "wheat or milk".
