Hello,
My 10th grade daughter is doing a research paper on celiac disease.  Her
topic is:  Celiac disease is often misunderstood and misdiagnosed by
medical professionals.

I am sure she is doing this based on what she experienced through living
with me and my years of going from doctor to doctor with no answers.

I was wondering if some of you could be so kind as to contact us and
answer the following questions:

1.  How long did it take for a proper diagnosis after your symptoms
started?

2.  Were you ever given a misdiagnosis and what might this have been.

3.  Are you current doctors knowledgable about celiac disease?
