I've been "lurking" here for awhile, trying to learn as much as I can,
and now want to ask if any of you are familiar with the hydrogen breath
test. I'm undiagnosed and, when I saw the GI specialist I was referred
to by my primary care doctor, he told me he could tell by looking at me
(what a guy!!) that I don't have celiac, but that he'd schedule a
hydrogen breath test to find out what's going on.

I'm kind of curious how the gases that form in your stomach can tell
someone whether your villi have been flattened.

I'd appreciate any information, or tips on how to get it.

Paula
