Taking natural herbs, like astragalus +ACY- echinacea, to boost one's immune
system wasn't advised, due to our overactive immune systems. However, some
do take them with good results.

One suggested Betaine hydrochloride to limit bacterial growth, to help with
the absorption of zinc, which could improve my respiratory problems.

The most frequent suggestion was to be tested for food allergies,
particularly dairy.

One suggested buying a product she sells from Mannatech.

Another suggested trying the Paleodiet of our ancestors.

Get a pneumonia vaccine.

Try therapeutic massage or acupuncture.

Treat the illnesses specifically.

Take garlic/allergy shots.

Talk to your doctor. I have. He doesn't want to test for food allergies
right now, believing that the IGA deficiency is the culprit of my frequent
respiratory infections. I get a flu shot, and the pneumonia vaccine, both
which give me symptoms of having the flu for a week--hardly seems worth it,
but I do it anyway. They will probably restart my monthly preventative
antibiotics this fall/winter. Said they would try 2 different ones, to see
if they don't cause the monthly yeast infections I get with antibiotics.

One person said she wears a triple mask and accepts the fact of her disease.
Acceptance is hard when getting ill increases my depression, but maybe it's
one of life's lessons I need to learn.

Thanks for your replies.
