Hi List,

I will be travelling to Iceland on 26th June for a two week holiday.  Would
appreciate if anyone could send me any info that would help me in staying GF
there.  We plan to base ourselves mainly in Reyjavik and Akureyri and hire a
car to tour to sights accessible from, and in between these cities.

I've travelled in quite a few other countries (and have always been grateful
for all the help I've been given in the past), so I don't need general
travel tips, just info specific to Iceland, please.

I've searched the archives but there's virtually nothing about Iceland
there.
