My 14-year old son took very sick starting last August and through much testing to find out why he was sick the doctors found celiac disease. He has been gluten free since November. His symptoms are not the typical celiac ones. He has a constant 24-hour-a-day headache which used to flare up into migraines. The migraines have stopped since he is gluten free. He also has joint pain which is sometimes so bad he can't write and has to limp. Some days he is so bad he can not make school. He has never had digestive issues.

His symptoms seemed to be improving during January, but now he seems to be getting worse again. Has anyone else on the listserv suffered from such severe constant symptoms? Sometimes I wonder if we just happened to find the celiac disease from all the testing he went through and maybe he really has some other ailment that is causing him to be so sick.

I hope someone can advise me. Thank you.

Cheryl
