Dear Fellow List Mates,
Thank you for your replies and support. The consensus was "get tested." I
forwarded all of your replies to my co-worker. She was very appreciative,
and her baby boy is being tested tomorrow! Your input was helpful and
encouraging. Hopefully, as the medical community in the U.S. becomes more
knowledgeable, testing for Celiac Disease will become routine. I
congratulate all the dedicated, loving and helpful parents and their
children. It took me 60+ years to get tested and able to regain near-normal
health. This should not be the average personal history. Rosalind (upstate
NY)
