I was diagnosed about 3 1/2 years ago and since going on a strict GF diet I have gained about 40 lbs. I've continued exercising (running and lifting weights) so the weight has remained well-distributed, but now my doctor thinks I am developing high blood pressure. I have been monitoring my blood pressure for the past week and he seems to be right. The one thing that seemed "normal" back when I was ingesting gluten was that my blood pressure was always 120/80 or below.

Lately I've been 140/83 or thereabouts.

Anyone else have blood pressure problems after going GF? Anyone have any other thoughts about this?

Thanks,

Richard Paul
