Hi Everyone

Do any of you suffer from both Celiac Disease and Asthma along with
Vitiligo? My 9 year old son has both. No one else in our family has any
autoimmune diseases. Have you had any success with creams? I am looking
for a cream that is safe to use on his face. Also, when he is using his
inhaler for his asthma, his pigment seems better because of the steroid.
When he is not using his inhaler, I notice more whitening of the skin. What
about diet? When you are eating better, have you noticed better
pigmentation? Are certain foods triggering the Vitiligo just like gluten
triggers Celiac? Do you feel certain sunscreens that contain gluten trigger
more loss of pigment during the summer? Or is it just the contrast of
darker skin from the sun making the Vitiligo more obvious in the summer?
And do you recommend a great sunscreen?

Thanks,
Sarah :-)
