I was diagnosed with celiac dx via blood tests back in July (2004). I started a gf diet and within 2 weeks began to feel great improvements (better then I had in 20 years!) Then I read up on Celiac and decided that I wanted a biopsy to be sure. I added gluten back in my diet on August 20th. I am scheduled for a biopsy on Oct 8th. This has been the hardest 3 weeks of my life- I feel like crap again!!

Heres my question- does anyone know if the amount of gluten one eats has an effect on degree of symptoms? Also, does the amount ingested affect the biopsy results? ( my md is unsure) Any info will be greatly appreciated

thanks

Linda
