Dear NY listers and NYC visitors,

I just had dinner at Paradou, a nice bistro in the meat packing
district across the street from the way-too-chic (and mediocre)
Pastis. The waiter knew exactly what Celiac is....as did the sweet
(and talented) young chef who came out to discuss the menu with me in
detail. I enjoyed the delicious asparagus soup w. white truffle oil
and a scallop dish in a small amount of tasty broth with Yukon Gold
potatoes, string beans and radiccio (sp?). Yum!

Bon appetit!

Mary Brown
