Dear Listmates: Well, I was warned: Lots of traffic, expensive prices.
I was determined to see for myself. A GF pizza, NY style. A little
disappointed. Turnpike tolls, bridge tolls, $25., does not include gas and
time. Pizza $22 ea., the raviolis to go (6ea) (small ones) $10. Did not
look homemade. Cannoli's. $4.50 ea. (not to my liking at all). It was
a very expensive experience. The pizza was edible while hot, then got
very chewy. It was very, very thin crust and a little underbaked. He
does not sell the dough alone. Giovanni was friendly and helpful, and I
wish him success. He does have a whole GF menu to choose from. That was
a once and done trip. I will keep experimenting. Still a lot cheaper.
