Thanks for the responses to my post.  Most people said raisins were
gluten free, specifically all Sun Maid products are gluten free.
However, one person said that some raisins, as well as other fruit like
figs and dates,  often have a coating of starch or talc to keep them
from sticking together and that it was rarely identified on the
packaging. Another said that the coated ones weren't gluten free.
