Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share that on our recent trip, we had a great experience at a Chilis in Mililani, Hawaii.

We found ourselves in an area with no known celiac friendly restaurants and decided to give Chilis a try. The manager at the Chilis in Mililani was more than happy to accomodate us and made some suggestions from their menu. There was not a lot to choose from that wasn't marinated or fried, but she came up with a choice of three grilled steaks, steamed veggies, baked potatoes and green salad.

They don't even have baked potatoes on their menu, but offered to prepare them anyway. When my husband's plate arrived, it included the grilled steak he had chosen, two baked potatoes and steamed veggies besides the dinner salad. We weren't sure about a salad dressing and their oil and vinegar was malt vinegar, so that wasn't an option. We decided to use fresh lemon on the salad and that worked out very well.

Needless to say, he had plenty of food for dinner and we were very pleased at their desire to provide him safe food.
