Friends of Celiac Disease is pleased to announce a partnership with Coins of
America, a Wisconsin-based company. Visitors logging on to the Coins of
America Web site via www.coinsofamerica.com/celiac.html will be registered
as Friends of Celiac Disease supporters, and a portion of every item they
purchase will be donated to support celiac education and awareness.

Coins of America offers a wide variety of unique products featuring U.S.
Mint and specialty mint coins. Their most popular item is the State Quarter
Collection, which features two uncirculated State Quarters in a colorful,
informative display card packed with facts and trivia that bring the unique
character of the state to life. The U.S. Mint began releasing the State
Quarters in 1999, and 25 different State Quarter Collections are currently
available. In addition, Coins of America offers holiday ornaments,
commemorative coins, vintage coins and fine jewelry.

In 2004 Friends supported the GIG National Education conference; distributed
the Going Gluten Free guide to over 25,000 people and began revisions for a
second printing, we collaborated again to sponsor materials for a dietician
education program at the ADA National Conference and supported the newly
diagnosed basket program at the University of Chicago's Celiac Disease
Program. In addition, we promoted celiac disease awareness at the annual
Digestive Disease Week Conference and attended the NIH meetings. And, we've
now published a new children's book - the Trouble that Jack Had.

Funds generated by the partnership with Coins of America will continue to
support education and awareness initiatives throughout the country.
