Thank you to everyone that responded regarding my post about gf
food/restaurants in Sanibel Island, Florida. We are looking forward to
having a great vacation! Here is a summary of the responses:

a.. There is a great health food store in Naples ( 230 minutes from
Sanibel) called Sunsplash Market (941-434-7221).

b.. Albertson's Grocery is in the area (have GF selections)
c.. There is a health food store in Fort Myers Beach (across the
causeway).

d.. There is a health food store on Periwinkle Way (one of the main
roads) near the 7-11. One person said they thought it was called Island
Health Foods and they had a good gf selection.

e.. Two people said in general the restaurants were pretty
accomodating. Some restaurants listed were McTigh's Shrimp House,
Seafood Factory, Timbers and a restaurant on the main road on the corner
near the shell museum.

f.. One person had a difficult time because he found the restaurants
to be unreceptive.

g.. It was suggested that we order my son's food cooked in a separate
pan in butter or water - no seasonings. Also order salads and veggies
season free. Alot of restaurants carry fish.

h.. There is a Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Fort Myers.

Thank you everybody! I'll let you know how it works out. Wish for
warm, sunny weather!
