Sixteen years ago I had a biopsy even though I did not have all of the
typical symptoms. The computer kept telling the doctors that I had celiac
sprue whatever that was. The biopsy was negative and the doctors ordered
another one deciding that perhaps they had not examined the correct area.
The second biopsy came back positive and in two weeks I was better. My blood
pressure was normal as was my blood count. I felt better then I had in years.
My insurance paid for two biopsies without complaint.
