Just a few words of caution:

I have just heard of a local celiac who had received a blood transfusion. Apparently the doctor told this woman she would no longer need to follow a GF diet as she was not a celiac any longer. She is now quite ill as a result of eating a regular diet.
Hard to believe a doctor would give such advice, but she is paying the price for this poor and incorrect information.
I don't know for how many months she had not eaten GF or any other particulars.
Carol
