Hi all-

Just wondering if anyone has experienced small areas on the tongue where  the
taste buds disappear, giving a flat appearance. Taste buds grow back  after a
few days.  Then a few days later, the same thing will happen  on another area
of the tongue. The areas are small, about as big around as the  size of a
pencil eraser. They will bleed if scraped with toothbrush.
