The restaurants that were suggested are:

1.  Garfunkel's--This is a chain found all over London..Recommended
chicken (only paprika added), peas and baked potato.

2.  Angus (also a chain and also called Aberdeen and Maxine's--they had a
T-bone, salad, broccoli or peas, and white rice.

3.  Sea Fresh Restaurant--grilled halibut (added only parsley and
butter), boiled potatoes, salad (ask them not to add marinated beets).

4.  Feng Shing (Chinatown--crispy roast chicken (only salt added and
white rice.

5.  Burger King--burgers and fries OK.

6.  Indian/Bengali/Parkistani restaurants.

Don Wiss said the have Indian restaurants all over, just make sure they
don't use tomato paste and you can eat any of the curries on there menu.
He made mention that London is the easiest city to visit and eat in.

Also they do have a Wild Oats store which is great for gluten free
snacks.

is in Noting Hill.  The gluten free section is in the back of the store.

You can great advice about managing with celiac disease in London from
