I would love to have some recommendations of restaurants for good GF
meals (lunch or dinner) within walking distance - or easy public
transportation - from the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Ave. We are
arriving on June 30, staying about 4 days for a convention at the hotel,
and will not have a car.

Taste of Chicago will be nearby. Checking the website
(www.tasteofchicago.us) I found their list of restaurants. I recognized
2 that I believe have been recommended on this list, although not sure
if these menu items are GF:
_Adobo Grill_  - Guacamole and Chips; Cochinita Pibil (Pork) Tacos;
Chicken Tamale; Churros; Cheese Empanada
_Las Tablas Colombian Steakhouse_ - Empanada Sampler with Plantain;
Steak or Chicken with Plantain; Chorizo with Yuca (Casava Fries); Dulce
De Leche (Ice Cream)

Any other recommendations for Taste of Chicago, or elsewhere that we can
easily get to without a car from our hotel will be greatly appreciated!
(meat/seafood/vegan/ethnic - all are acceptable)

Thanks in advance,
Carol in Northern Calif.
