To help my siblings and children make sense of so many problems I can't
begin to count them, I would appreciate info connecting CD to
schizophrenia, and into low platelet count. Also, any insight on the
passing of gluten through mother's milk: While nursing my first baby I
was fed large quantities of both barley water and beer, by a
well-meaning old-fashioned mother. My infant was spitting up constantly
and had frequent diarrhea, and was also colicy. If gluten was present
in the milk there would have been no noticeable change in her system
when cereal was introduced (?) My CD was not diagnosed until this
daughter was 32--she shares the disease with me. I have a large family
and find that all information is helpful in coming to terms with very
difficult existences.
TIA.
