I used that cholesterol lowering Benecol once before but didn't like the
little packets it came in. Now they have it in a tub, so my wife brought
home a tub. I saw "vegetable mono and diglicerides" listed in the
ingredients so I thought I'd better check it. The website address is on the
package so I checked into it and clicked on the "questions and answers"
link. And there it was in full dress: "Does Benecol have gluten." The
answer is "no" it doesn't. Once again our calling and emailing these
companies is beginning to pay off for us. I sent them a nice note. Made me
feel like saying something nice to someone on the street. So I told the
first jogger I met, "Hey, you sure don't sweat much for an old guy."

-vance, an old guy, so don't chide me :)
