Hello all!

I am so thankful for all of the great responses that I have received.
Everyone is so supportive! I was very pleased to hear that I was not alone
with my weight gain.

Here is the general consensus that I received:

-Everyone, with the exception of one, had experienced weight gain after
diagnosis and adherence to the gluten free diet. Of course this all varied
as to how much weight, and over how long a time for each individual post
diagnosis.

-Because our bodies are healing, they are now absorbing more nutrients
etc......

-Some experienced a weight gain only for a period of time, and then it
leveled off.

-The gluten free food that we eat has a higher caloric content than regular
foods.

-Some have found great success with a Weight Watchers program.

-Some have found success with the Atkin's Diet.

-One person has found success with keeping the daily carbohydrate total at
100 and watching sugar intake.

-One person suggested keeping a daily journal of daily food intake, and
exercise. That really helped for her.

-Overall and with the most responses, it was just to eat more fruits,
vegetables, lean meats and to increase your activity level with exercise.

-And most importantly, it really depends on how you feel. If you feel good,
what is little weight gain!

I thank everyone very much for their great suggestions and support! You are
all wonderful!
