Dear Listmates -
You can occasionally find an older edition (probably at least 3 years
old) at library book stores.  If your library carries the PDR, they
probably replace it every year or so.  I bought a 3-year-old edition
several years back for 50 cents at one of these sales.

I bought a copy at Sam's Club two years ago that had been out 6 or 8
months (or a bit longer).  Sam's price was $50 or so, not $100.  These
must be unsold remainder books that Sam's acquired from the publisher.

You can buy a subscription to PDR online, but it costs more - I think
$129 a year.
