Has anyone had high levels of C reactive protein in the blood before(or
after)being diagnosed with celiac, where it wasn't tracable to anything
else specific? I know it's produced by the liver and have seen a lot on
elevated liver enzymes and celiac, but can't seem to find anything about
C reactive protein, and whether it's an enzyme or not. Have a friend
with many of the symptoms of celiac, and very high C reactive protein in
the blood, but doctors are unable to pinpoint anything specific, and he
has not been tested for celiac, and doesn't have insurance at this
point.

With many thanks,

Timia
