Hi there,
I noticed your post. I understand that quinoa is safe and does not
contain glutin/gliaden.
What I really wanted to respond to was the issue of allergy testing.
I feel that blood allergy testing is quite inaccurate, compared to
elimination and challenge. The gold standard is a 5 day fast as
described in Dr Mandells 5 day allergy relief system (That is the title
of the book.
I have run many of these blood tests, and from my experience when
someone has severe candida overgrowth, , gluten/gliaden intolerance,
parasites, abnormal flora, pathogenic flora, or in general terms,
intestinal dysbiosis, the blood allergy tests commonly show + to many
allergies, such as you described. For that reason I first do a CDSA
Complete Stool and Digestive Analysis and bring the intestines into good
health first. Then I treat hyperpermiability of the gut. Next Liver
detoxification analysis, and treatment as needed. Only after I do all
that would I do the blood allergy testing. does that make sense to you?
I hope that is helpful.
sincerely
Gary Kiefer, ND
