Good evening friends!
I want to share a source for gf medications that I recently discovered.
There is a company named Perrigo,800-719-9260- which makes many over the
counter gf medications. I recently called them seeking a gf version of
Benadrly. A wonderfully sweet woman named Beth assured me that they make
a generic version of many things and they are marketed under the store
brand label for such stores as WalMart, Kmart etc. They have gf vitamins,
cold meds. diarhea meds etc. I suggest you call the company, tell them
what you need, what large chain stores are near you and ask what they
would have. she recommended that i go to the store , find the product i
was interested in and then call Perrigo back with the name of the
product and the lot number and she could tell me for sure if it was gf.
most superstores now have a pharmacy that has a phone that they would
probably let you use to call Perrigo before you purchase the product
therefore avoiding an extra trip to the store. She was very helpful and
even offered to send me 2 free samples of their gf products and I could
choose what type of product i would like to receive. When they arrived
they were full size bottles, not small samples.Three cheers for this
great company!!! Hope this helps someone.
