Regarding Michel's question of which taco seasoning mixes are GF, I never
use any seasoning mixes - I figure it's too risky. I buy bulk herbs and
spices from the health food store, making sure they are pure. For Mexican
food I use various combinations of ground chiles, coriander, cayenne pepper,
oregano, cumin, black pepper, cinnamon, as well as fresh onions, garlic, green
pepper, parsley and cilantro. It's cheaper, it tastes better than commercial
packages, and I can adjust the spiciness to suit my tastes. Mmmmm, I'm
getting hungry just thinking about it.
