As a follow up on GF dining in midcoast Maine – happy to share that we ate
and had good experiences at:

The Great Impasta in Brunswick, www.thegreatimpasta.com – wonderful GF pizza
and some pasta options too.

Café Miranda in Rockland, www.cafemiranda.com – lots of GF options in a
creative funky cafe.

Anchors Inn in Round Pond -- alas, only the risotto was GF and the
restaurant will close this fall for good.

We searched for GF-friendly places to eat in Maine on the website,
GlutenFreeTravelSite ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com
<http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com/> ) – was helpful! We also found
plenty of GF food to purchase at Whole Foods and Trader Joes in Portland on
our way north, and at Hannaford’s grocery store in Damariscotta.
