Celiac Disease Foundation presents the Annual Education Conference & Food
Faire on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles
from 8:30am to 4pm.

This year CDF is proud to announce that we have scheduled several members of
our Medical Advisory Board who are top experts in the field of celiac
disease. Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to hear these
outstanding professionals speak on the latest issues regarding CD - - all in
one day!

Speakers include:

·	Alessio Fasano, MD, Director of Center for Celiac Disease Research,
University of Maryland Baltimore.
·	Peter H.R. Green, MD, Director of Celiac Disease Center, Columbia
University, New York.
·	Martin Kagnoff, MD, Director of the new Wm. K. Warren Medical Research
Center for Celiac Disease at University of California San Diego.
·	Michelle Pietzak, MD, Pediatric Gastroenterology/Nutrition, University of
Southern California, Keck School of Medicine.
·	Andrea Levario, JD, Executive Director, American Celiac Disease Alliance
·	Kim Koeller and Robert La France authors of “Let’s Eat Out! – Your
Passport to Living Gluten and Allergy Free”

There will be a Q&A session following each speaker.  There will also be an
Extensive Gluten Free food Vendor Display with samples and sales.  A
Continental gluten free breakfast, lunch and beer tasting are provided with
registration.

Registration for CDF members before April 28th is $75 and after April 28th
is $100.  Walk-ins the day of the conference will be $120.   Children
between ages 5 and 14 are $40.  Free parking with validation is available at
the parking structure directly across the street from the Conference Center.
There will be an all day supervised Children’s Program for celiac kids and
their siblings ages 5 and up.  Included in the day’s activities will be a
Q&A with a pediatrician and a registered dietician, arts & craft and
activities.

Lunchtime mini sessions will include discussion groups for parents with
children who have celiac and people newly diagnosed, teens and young adults.
Special guest - Ruth Gonzales, Miss Santa Cruz County, who is herself a
celiac.  Authors Peter H.R. Green, MD and Kim Koeller will also be available
for book signing.  Michelle Pietzak, MD, The Gluten Free MD, will have her
new CD available for sale as well.
